As a part of its division-wide efforts to ensure schools remain safe, welcoming places to learn, Lynchburg City Schools (LCS) will be implementing walk-through metal detectors at its high schools later this school year.
To best address concerns and support a smooth transition during this implementation, LCS is seeking feedback from various community stakeholders. Parents/guardians, students, staff, and community members are invited to take the feedback survey.
LCS is also seeking volunteers for the metal detector implementation committee to gather additional feedback and help guide the decision making process. Members of the school community who are interested in serving on the committee can fill out this interest form.
