The 44th annual Central Virginia Regional Science Fair was held virtually on March 6-8, 2021. The 75 students participating represented high schools from Amherst County, Appomattox County, Bedford County, Campbell County, and Lynchburg City public schools and one private school. The fair is an affiliate of the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair. Two regional finalists will represent Central Virginia at the Regeneron’s Virtual International Science and Engineering Fair in May. Eighteen students were nominated to represent the regional fair at the Virginia State Science & Engineering Fair to be held  virtually April 10, 2021 hosted by Virginia Tech.
