Dear LCS families,

FAMILY CONNECT TEAM

The LCS Family Connect team wants to make sure everyone has access to our Continuity of Learning during this school closure. If you have not completed our Internet Access Survey, or you have expressed your need for assistance, you will be receiving a phone call from our Family Connect Team soon!

ONLINE REGISTRATION

We have now opened Online Registration for the 2020-21 school year. Returning families, please complete your Online Registration application using your Infinite Campus Parent Portal account.

CONTINUITY OF LEARNING UPDATE

Teachers and staff are continuing to create additional weeks of learning activities posted on the LCS At Home website. Students and families are encouraged to reach out to teachers via Google Classroom, email, Class Dojo, etc to receive the latest updates and available opportunities to improve. Based on our survey information, we look to have non-digital resources available to elementary students at command centers and parks and recreation centers during meal distribution times by the end of next week. More information to come later.

As a reminder, our command center sites are E. C. Glass High School, Heritage High School, Dunbar Middle School and Linkhorne Middle School.

HOT MEALS NOW SERVED MWF

LCS School Nutrition is now serving hot meals with the meal distribution on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The hot meals are packaged and included inside the food bags, and will be just as easy to carry as the cold meals. As a reminder, meals are available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for all children through age 18. Children will receive two days worth of breakfast and lunch. Included in the meal bags is food safety information, so please check that out. Also as a reminder, parents, guardians, and other caregivers can now pick up meals on behalf of their children.
