This year two $1000 scholarships were awarded to deserving students Jasmine Jones and Ashley Jackson. Heritage High School graduate Jasmine Jones (right-pictured with principal Mr. Robert Miller) will be attending Radford University in the fall where she plans to major in nursing.
E. C. Glass High School graduate Ashley Jackson (below right-pictured with principal Mrs. Susan Morrison) will be attending James Madison University in the fall where she will be majoring in health systems management.
The scholarship program was established by Mrs. Linda Carr, President of Technical and Management Resources, Inc. Scholarships are awarded to students demonstrating outstanding merit, especially in the areas of leadership, scholastic achievement and community involvement.
