Two Lynchburg City Schools student artists were the middle and high school winners of the 2012 Virginia School Boards Association Southern Regional Art Contest in April.

Brenna Wooldridge from Linkhorne Middle School and Sara Castanes from Heritage High School will have their artwork framed and displayed in the offices of the VSBA in Charlottesville and Richmond offices of the State Superintendent of Public Instruction.

One winner was chosen from the region’s elementary, middle, and high school levels. It was judged at the regional forum for area school board members.
