The Heritage High School Big Orange Marching Machine marched their way into school history—winning their 21st consecutive 1st in class trophy at Franklin County High School in October. The BOMM has also won 19 Grand Champion awards (highest score at the competition regardless of class awards) in their last 21 competitions. In addition to the 1st in Class AA award, the BOMM also captured 1st Place Drum Major, 1st Place Percussion, 1st Place Color Guard, 1st Place Marching, 1st Place Music and 1st Place General Effect. Heritage was also awarded the Class A/AA Grand Champion trophy with an overall score of 94.5.
