Artwork by Krista HartmannCongressman Bob Goodlatte has chosen artwork from Heritage High School student Briannah Ecklund as the finalist to represent the 6th District of Virginia in the 2014 Congressional High School Art Competition. He chose Briannah’s “Piedmont Mills.”

Congressman Goodlatte also selected a piece from E. C. Glass student Krista Hartmann as a runner-up, and it will be on display in one of Goodlatte’s district offices throughout the next year.

NOTE: The photo included with this story is of the piece created by Krista Hartmann. Briannah Ecklund’s artwork had already been delivered to the congressman’s office.
