Dear LCS families,
We need to know your preference for hybrid or remote-only instruction for your child.
If your child is in Pre-K through second grade, his or her teacher should have already contacted you and recorded your decision to return to in-building instruction through the hybrid model or continue remote-only instruction. If you have not yet talked to your child's teacher about your preference, please contact them or your child's school no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 25.
If your child is in third through twelfth grade, his or her teacher will begin reaching out to you as early as today to record your decision to return to in-building instruction through the hybrid model or continue remote-only instruction. If you have not heard from your child's teacher by Monday at noon, please contact the teacher or your child's school no later than Monday, September 28 at 4:00 p.m.
Please note this very important information regarding your decision: Students who continue with remote-only instruction will not be able to move to hybrid learning until quarter 3, which means remote-only students will continue in that setting until January 15, 2021. Families will then be able to change to hybrid learning for quarter 3, but they must contact their child's school by 4:00 p.m. on December 4, 2020.
If you have already notified your child's teacher about your preference, but you have changed your mind, please make sure to reach out to your teacher by the deadlines noted above.
