Message from Mrs. Steele, Principal

Report cards will be sent home with students on January 26 (Cohort A) or January 28 (Cohort B). Remote student report cards will be available in the portal.

Attendance/Participation

We really need the support of our families to make sure students have a schedule and are learning at home each day and/or attending in-person on hybrid days. Please make sure your child is attending Zoom sessions, watching instructional videos and completing work. Please communicate with the teacher or myself about any questions or challenges you have so we can work together on solutions. We know it is challenging, but with common expectations between home and school, we can help our children be successful!

If you child must miss school, remote or in-person, you need to notify the school, with the reason, by sending an email to [email protected] or calling (434) 515-5210 ext. 21008 or send in a written note the following day to Ms. Landrum, our attendance coordinator.

We have hotspots available to support at-home learning for our families that do not have internet or unstable internet. The hotspot is very small and portable (about the size of a credit card), so it is also helpful for students that need internet when they go to a babysitter or another home, so they can continue to learn. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the teacher, the office (434) 515-5210 or email me at [email protected]. We appreciate your partnership and frequent communication so we can work together to support our children!
