State Superintendent Dr. James Lane took a tour of Linkhorne Middle School on the morning of April 19, 2021. Dr. Lane was greeted by the LMS Jaguar and cheerleading team before being joined by Principal Dr. Kathy Dills, her administrative team, and LCS Superintendent Dr. Edwards on a tour through the halls and classrooms. A well-informed group of LMS students, who highlighted safety measures and classroom procedures, guided the way, and the LMS orchestra, led by orchestra teacher Jim George, performed for Dr. Lane, who himself was a music teacher at one time. At the end of the tour, Dr. Lane even shot some hoops in the LMS gym. Dr. Dills and LMS were excellent hosts, leaving the state superintendent with a great impression of the LCS Tradition of Excellence for All!
