Dear LCS families,
The IT department will collect senior Chromebooks during the week of May 26, 2020, at the student’s respective high school. A communication regarding the specific days/times and the process for dropping off the device will be forthcoming from the school.
Students currently in grades 6-11 will keep their Chromebooks over the summer and must bring their devices to school upon returning in the fall. Current 8th grade students must return their current device in the fall in order to receive a new Chromebook. Also, any elementary student who received an LCS device will also be able to keep it through the summer and should bring it back when school resumes.
If you know your child (11th grade and below) will not be returning to LCS in the fall, please call (434) 515-5095 to schedule a time to return the Chromebook to IT in order to avoid any financial obligations.
For those families that participated in the 2019-20 Accidental Damage Protection Plan, coverage will extend through the summer.
