Computer, tablet and mobile device with social media icons

Parents, would you like more information about the social media apps your students are using? Do you have concerns about what your students may be doing or seeing on their computer or handheld device? Then come to one of our free community workshops for parents on social media and internet safety. In the next few weeks, the Lynchburg City Schools IT Department will host several one-hour parent workshops around the city from 7:00-8:00 p.m. sharing information about social media apps, ways students can hide information and some positive tips on how to use social media on their devices. We will even teach you how to set up your home wifi to keep your family safe while using this powerful tool.
