Fifth-graders from Sheffield Elementary School will have their photography on display at the Warehouse Theatre throughout the month of June. The photography is a result of Sheffield’s first Photography Club for students.
Sheffield introduced the club this year. It included selected 5th-grade students, and the club was an incentive for positive behavior as well as a program for kids who were really interested in photography. Cameras were donated from the community, and several guest speakers from the community who were local, top photographers helped teach the students about photography.
The students’ photography will be on display at the Warehouse Theater behind the Academy Center of the Arts in Downtown Lynchburg through June 30th. The Warehouse Theater is open to the public from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
