Student safety is a top priority for Lynchburg City Schools. As we welcome students to a new school year, we are implementing an LCS “Bus Buddy” Program for the first few weeks of school. These volunteer positions involve taking attendance and greeting elementary students as they get on the bus. We want to ensure all bus riders have a safe and enjoyable ride to and from school.
Are you or your organization interested in volunteering to be an LCS Bus Buddy?
Opportunities exist in the mornings from approximately 7:45 to 9:00 a.m. and in the afternoons from approximately 3:40 to 5:30 p.m.
Let’s all help LCS students get back to school safely by being a “Bus Buddy.”
